Functional Medicine
Most people turn to our office because the traditional standard of care has failed to resolve the problem. Others turn to us because the standard Functional Medicine framework also hasn't resolved the problem. What you can expect from our office is that we utilize nontraditional treatment strategies. We work with cutting-edge, effective, and creative ways to arrest the progression of acute/chronic disease states, reverse acute/chronic symptoms, and optimize health through strategic and restorative practices.
The nontraditional treatment strategies include: Quantum Response Testing, dietary recommendations, whole food supplements, nutraceuticals, herbs, homeopathic, Nutrition Response Testing, ionic detoxification footbaths, Emotional Freedom Technique, PsychK (Psychological Kinesiology), Emotional and Mental Balancing and Repatterning, prayer, meditation techniques, and breathwork.
Dr. Juul is a doctor of chiropractic. Doctors of chiropractic practicing in a functional health model view health as a continuum from optimal health to hidden imbalances to disease. Rather than treating disease (e.g. cancer, hypothyroid, or multiple sclerosis), we address underlying metabolic, physiologic, and functional imbalances, intervening at root causes. One effect may be the ability to reduce or eliminate the need for medications, which must be done by your prescribing provider. As doctors of chiropractic, we do not prescribe drugs or perform surgery.
Muscle Response Testing
Muscle response testing is a natural, biofeedback method that allows your practitioner to communicate directly with your body to find out what it needs. Two of these systems are Nutrition Response Testing and Quantum Response Testing.
Dr. Bonnie is one of less than 1000 fully advanced trained Nutrition Response Testing practitioners in the world. NRT helps uncover nutritional and toxic interferences with health. She developed Quantum Response Testing to incorporate the foundational aspect of health that is missing for most people - a spiritual foundation of self-love and acceptance.
Quantum Response Testing is offered as a stand-alone program or is integrated with Functional Medicine.
Chiropractic Care for Pregnancy and Wellness
We provide spinal correction utilizing gentle chiropractic techniques. Never in the history of chiropractic have we been able to provide the level of help and expertise that now exists. These newer correction methods are even safer, more comfortable and more effective than ever before. As a Doctor of Chiropractic, Dr. Bonnie Juul has years of training and experience in spinal adjustment. Chiropractic can support the turning of a breech baby. But for all women, it helps relieve the pain that occurs from carrying a bowling ball on your pubic bone! Once a week is often all that is necessary to get significant relief.
Wellness visits are for those who have been under chiropractic care and just need a tune-up ever so often, and benefit from the more specific and targeted adjustments of the Activator Methods technique. This technique helps those with significant mobility issues, including weight-lifters who have a lot of muscle but not the mobility needed for many manual adjusting styles.
Ionic Detoxification Footbaths
Ionic footbaths help start or further support your body's detoxification process. Ours offers a deep, gentle detoxification experience where your body is able to gently release toxins that have been keeping you from feeling 100%. Some symptoms of needing detoxification include brain fog, repeated illness, allergies and skin.
Foundations of Health
Most people have some information that they found useful for their diets. Did you know that there are similarities between all of them? Would you like to know what that is? This self-guided program allows you to learn from home as you explore the true foundations of health. As you are unique, so should your nutritional program. This allows you to cut through the hype and the fads and get to what works.
